On a cold Tuesday Evening, this week, Competitive Bowls returned for the Men of Lee Moor Bowling Club with an away fixture at Central Park against Beacon Down of Division 1.

Unfortunately the gulf in class was clearly evident as Lee Moor went down by 102 shots to 43 shots.  It was not all doom and gloom however, as the Rink skipped by Grenville Barnett, No 2 Dave Ashton and Lead Ron Skelly won their match 20 shots to 17 shots.  Well done guys.

As usual, we look forward to our next game against North Down at Lee Moor in the same competition.  Yet again we face classier opposition from a higher League but will try our best.  Wrap up warm Guys.
